Come join the ExtraTerrestrial Circus Experiment for bit afternoon circus and dance classes and an evening performance of Quantanime, all of which will be held on
August 7 2008

The classes and times will be held at:
noon - Sphereplay / Contact Improve
1:30 - Acro-balance / Hat Manipulation
3:00 - Belly Dance with Olivia Kaplan
The evening performance, Quantanime is an Anime/Kung Fu themed Circus Theater. When a treacherous murder brings Malakai to his mother's deathbed, he embarks on a tumultuous quest to save his world from the devious designs of his power-crazed twin brother Jubei. In a comic game of cat and mouse Malakai and Jubei trek all the way from the mountain palace of the mischievious monkey king to the magical world of dreams in search of the four celestial totems of great knowledge. While Malakai longs to unite the people of Quanta by placing the four sacred artifacts in the ark of creation, Jubei covets their power and he won't stop until only he is supreme ruler of Quanta.
Tickets are $12 in advance (online at www.fleisher.org/calendar/etce.php) or $15 at the door.
The story is expressed through circus arts including:

- Double Staff
- Sphereplay (contact juggling)
